The Nursery Curriculum is based on National Guidelines and includes the following main areas:

•    Communication and Language

•    Physical Development and Movement

•    Emotional Personal and Social Development

•    Knowledge and Understanding of the World

•    Expressive and Aesthetic Development

Much of the Nursery work is delivered through purposeful free play which encourages the children to start becoming independent learners.  There are many opportunities for liaison between Nursery and the P1 staff, and this makes the move from Nursery to P1 very smooth for pupils.
