Enrolment and Secondary Transition

Primary 1

For pupils starting Primary 1 in August enrolment takes place week beginning 28th January 2008. There is always a notice in the local press and local playgroups/nurseries will also be informed. Notices will also be displayed in the local shop. Children starting P1 in August 2008 should be 5 years of age by the 29^th February 2008.

Nursery Class for 4 Year Olds

Children starting the 4 year old class in August 2008 should be 4 years of age by 29^th February 2008.

Nursery Class for 3 Year Olds

The entry dates for the 3 year old Nursery class are as follows:

Those born on or between 1^st Jan 2005 – 28^th Feb 2005 may enrol to start in April 2008.

Those born on or between 1^st Mar 2005 – 31^st Aug 2005 may enrol to start in August 2008.

Those born on or between 1^st Sept 2005 – 31^st Dec 2005 may enrol to start in January 2009

Transfer to Secondary School

On completing P7 in Raigmore, pupils living within the catchment area transfer to Millburn Academy, Diriebught Road, Inverness, IV2 3QR (Telephone 01463 233573/4)

Pupils living outwith the Millburn catchment area will transfer to their local Secondary School.
